Abandoned Dog Rescued From California Trash Pile
Through the period of less than a month, a dog named “Miley,” has experienced a remarkable change in her life thanks to Eldad Hagar and the non-profit rescue organization, Hope for Paws.
Just before being rescued, Miley’s life consisted of a unpleasant existence in a trash pile on the borders of Los Angeles, Calif.
The dog, who is thought to have been left behind by her owners, was obviously having difficulties just to survive… she was skinny and her body was covered in agonizing, infected wounds from long-untreated mange.
When Hagar initially got into contact with Miley, it was extremely clear that she was defeated and had practically given up hope… when approached, she didn’t stand, however gratefully accepted small morsels of food which were provided to help gain her trust.
With the help of gentle coaxing, and quite a bit of patience, Miley’s rescuers were at some point in a position to put a leash around her thin neck and lead her to a vehicle which was waiting to beat her away to a vet for necessary care.
Miley’s healing was slow – her time of surviving on her own had taken its toll, however things took a stunning turn for the better when Miley was presented to another dog who had as well been rescued.
The other dog, named “Frankie,” appeared to melt Miley’s heart; the pair rapidly grew to become fast friends.
The video of Miley’s rescue, together with her lovely friendship with Frankie, was place on Facebook just two days ago; already it has been shared everywhere by publications and individuals as well.
